G, L & T: Eleven Months

11 months

Sweet T is on the move!! Although he had taken a few steps beforehand (last month), he started really walking the weekend after the Fourth of July. How is he growing up so fast? He still spends some time crawling, but he loves walking. He thinks he is so big now. He falls A LOT, but can get himself back up on his own and he just keeps getting better and better! He has changed so much this month. Besides walking (!!), this month T:

Got his 6th tooth
Finally learned how to clap
Mimics "uh oh" and "vroom vroom"
Needed a hair cut and didn't get one - his hair is really getting long
Visited the library several times and learned to love lift-the-flap books
Stopped needing to be swaddled for naps and bedtime
Nurses twice a day and has three bottles
Loves to clap along when we sing 'If You're Happy & You Know It...'
Spent afternoons at the swimming pool where we discovered he much prefers the warm, shallow baby pool
Is getting better at going to people besides mom & dad (it's been good to be around family more)
Feeds himself raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, crackers, cereal, peas, carrots and bread
Is sleeping through the night and taking two naps
Enjoyed many car rides around town and helped mom at the grocery store each week
Gives hugs and kisses if you ask nicely (and he's in the mood)
Usually performs his tricks for company - clapping, so big!, up and down, bonking head

This month T and I have been flying solo most of the time because G is hard at work studying for the Bar Exam. He has been studying non-stop and I'm really proud of him. I know all this time will pay off once he takes the exam. July 24th is the big day. GOOD LUCK, G!!
